Plan Description
This home is similar to the McPherson III with these changes: A smaller island which is more economical. Bedrooms #2 and #3 are now equal in size and so are their closets. The second closet in the master has been made larger by taking out the broom closet in the hallway. The details in both closets are different. Givng you a fabulous shoe shelf detail for more shelf space. The entry door has been moved to the left of the living room taking out the entry closet thus we made the closet in the laundry larger. This also gave bedrom #2 an equally sizd closet. The island has all the must have essentials without some of the extra cost of house #6118's island.
Kitchen Island
The spacious 52" x 98" island is the true centerpiece of your kitchen — both stylish and functional. Built right in, you’ll find a silverware organizer, a knife center with cutting board, and a dedicated spice drawer to keep everything within easy reach. To the right of the stove, a five-canister pull-out neatly stores your spatulas and cooking utensils, while to the left, two large 24" pot drawers offer plenty of room for cookware and larger kitchen essentials. It will also be Rustic Beech Pecan.
Pantry & Coffee Bar/Media Area
The walk-in pantry sits conveniently off the kitchen and even includes outlets for small appliances. Close to it is a flexible coffee bar/media nook offers cabinets and a USB outlet—making it perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, or charging devices. At the center, you’ll also find a built-in space with an outlet designed for a mini fridge—ideal for beverages, snacks, or anything you like to keep chilled. Not planning to add a fridge? This versatile spot can easily become a docking station for a plug-in robot vacuum or a dedicated pet-feeding zone where food and bowls stay neatly tucked away. Or you can add doors or drawers in this space.
The Master Bathroom
You’ll fall in love with your Onyx shower, measuring a spacious 60" x 42" — wide, comfortable, and designed for everyday luxury. It features a built-in Liberty seat and an ultra-wide Liberty series caddy to keep your shampoos and essentials organized. The hand wand is perfectly placed for convenience — whether you’re rinsing off, sitting to relax, or appreciating how easy it makes cleaning your shower (and maybe even your pet 🐾). You can ofcourse design your own shower to go in this space including a standard shower.
Your double vanity with a wood-wrapped mirror adds warmth and character, while the 30" linen cabinet gives you all the extra storage and getting-ready space you could want. To the left of the linen? A little bonus space to make your own — hang your robe (a robe hook will be installed), add a mirror, or tuck in a stylish laundry hamper. You’re welcome. A tall, light-filled window—matching the height of the bedroom windows—bathes the bathroom in sunshine, creating a bright and uplifting start to every morning..
Flexible Modern Lighting
Every light in this home has been carefully and intentionally placed. The result is a home that feels bright and welcoming during the day and warm and inviting in the evening. Thoughtful lighting placement enhances function, creates ambiance, and highlights the craftsmanship that makes this home truly special.
We know how important it is for homeowners to control their lighting, whether bright for cooking or soft for a relaxed evening. That’s why we thoughtfully designed this home with separate dimmers for the pendants, kitchen, and living room lights, allowing you to set the ambiance that feels just right.
The LED lights throughout the kitchen, dining, and living room are fully adjustable—shift from a cozy 2700K warm glow to crisp 5000K daylight, and dim them all the way down to 5%, including the pendants. It’s these small, intentional details, like adjustable lighting and individualized dimmers, that make a Wardcraft home exceptional.
