Plan Description

Kitchen

Above the kitchen sink, a 4-foot window with double casements lets in generous natural light and frames your outdoor view. On each side of the window, angled display shelves give you a perfect spot to showcase favorite glasses, framed photos, or even a few potted herbs soaking up the sunshine.

Cabinet Built Ins

To the left of your stove, you’ll find a convenient set of four drawers, ideal for oven mitts and everyday utensils. On the right, a pull-out canister insert keeps spatulas and spoons neatly organized and upright — freeing up valuable drawer space. Above that, a pull-out spice rack with chrome rails ensures your seasonings are always within reach without rummaging through cabinets. Nearby, two deep pot drawers provide easy storage for cookware — a feature consistently loved by our homeowners. To the right of your diswasher you will have a 30" built in silverware tray divider.

Tile

Completing the look, you could choose Emser Passion Blanco tile — a versatile white tile with soft variations of gray and tan hues. The bottom row is installed vertically, while the remaining rows run horizontally up to the top of the window, where the vertical pattern is repeated to frame the space. The window itself is fully wrapped in tile, creating a refined, high-end finish. This same tile detail continues into the laundry room and butler’s pantry for a cohesive, designer-inspired flow throughout the home. Your tile choice is up to you though!

You’ll have eight LED disk lights for general lighting and three pendants on a separate switch, allowing you to create just the right atmosphere — a brightly lit space for cooking and meal prep, or mood lighting for a late-night snack or movie night.

Kitchen Island

Now this is exciting — we can already picture you smiling as you reach for a cold drink from your under-counter beverage fridge, conveniently located right next to the dining area. Need a refreshment while eating? It’s right there, freeing up extra space in your main refrigerator for more food and leftovers.

Next to the beverage fridge, you’ll find a pull-out storage cabinet — the perfect spot to keep bottled water, pop, or mixers so you can easily restock your fridge anytime. It’s those little touches of forward-thinking design that make everyday living just a bit smoother.

On the island, six drawers (two sets of three 30-inch drawers) face the sink, offering generous storage for utensils, towels, and small appliances. On the opposite side, facing the stove, you’ll find three additional drawers — ideal for cookie sheets, baking pans, and cookware you want to keep within easy reach.

You’re welcome.

Butler’s Pantry

(a.k.a. “Mama’s Hideaway”)

Our very first Butler’s Pantry in a standard plan — and we couldn’t be more excited! This space completely changes how you’ll use your kitchen. Imagine keeping your main kitchen spotless while moving all the meal prep, cooking, and baking behind the scenes.

When we first designed this feature, it was affectionately called “Mama’s Hideaway” — and honestly, the name stuck because it fits. With four feet of window space, you could absolutely pull up a chair, gaze out at your backyard, and call it your private retreat. But let’s be real… it’s also the perfect spot to let your crock pot work its magic or line up your cookie sheets for baking — all while your main kitchen stays photo-ready.

You’ll find six drawers below the window for everything from utensils to baking tools, plus base cabinets on each side for storing larger appliances out of sight. Two upper cabinets provide even more storage for pantry staples.

Across from the window wall, open shelves wrap around the perimeter, giving you plenty of space for food storage — and yes, we thought of everything: outlets are built right into the shelving (four total) along with a USB outlet just in case you turn this into a true “Mama’s Hideaway” and want to charge your phone while you relax.

So what does an extraordinary pantry need? An entrance that makes a statement! Choose a glass door here with rain glass, reeded or chord. The glass adds a lighter, more distinctive touch. The design lets natural light from the 4-foot pantry window flow through, keeping the area bright and making the space feel even larger and more open and ties the whole space together beautifully. You can of course choose to keep this door the same as the rest of your house.

With four overhead lights, this entire space is bright, functional, and ready for anything — from a coffee bar to meal prep central. It’s one of those designs that just makes sense. See the genius now?

Master Suite

Bathroom

Let’s start with your huge Onyx shower — an impressive 72" x 42" space that’s comfortably large enough for two. The Onyx goes to the top of the wall. The shower features a rain shower head above and a handheld wand on the side wall, perfect for cleaning the shower, rinsing off the dog, or simply making life easier when you need to sit and relax after a long day.

The large 10-inch rain shower and handheld wand are on the same diverter, allowing you to switch between them or use both together at the same water temperature. The main 8-inch shower head, however, is on its own control, so you can set a different water temperature if desired. That’s the kind of smart design that comes from really thinking through how people live — and what makes life easier.  You can of course design your own shower here, this describes what is currently in the plan. You can custom build it any way you like, including a standard shower.

The built-in bench is wide and sturdy — perfect for sitting, shaving, or just taking a quiet moment to unwind. Behind the bench, a 4-inch ledge offers the ideal spot for shampoos and soaps, while an extra-wide shower caddy on the back wall adds even more convenient storage. It’s not just a shower — it’s your private retreat (we’ll call this Retreat #2).

Your double vanities feature a sleek 72-inch Onyx solid-surface top, providing ample counter space for two. Beside them, a built-in linen cabinet offers 18" of storage with drawers below — perfect for keeping towels and everyday essentials neatly tucked away. You can choose a single sink vanity and larger or smaller linen cabinet.

There is plenty of LED lighting in this bathroom — two disk lights over the shower, one in the main area, and two three-bulb LED fixtures above the vanities. Together, they provide bright, even light that’s sure to wake you up in the morning and help you face your day. All the lights are conveniently controlled by a single switch, so when you’re ready to start your morning — your bathroom is, too. All disk lights are adjustable in hue, so if you prefer a softer, more calming atmosphere over the shower, it’s easily done.

You’ll even have USB outlets on each side of the bed, so you can plug in your phone without hunting for an outlet or fighting over a charger. :) This room is wired a ceiling fan to be installed on site by others.

Primary Closet

Another first — and one we’re genuinely excited about — your primary closet now includes built-in drawers, four of them. This feature takes your storage up a notch, making it easier to keep things organized without needing a dresser in the bedroom. Choose 4 shallow drawers or 3 so there is a little more space in each.

Above the drawers, you’ll have hanging space, and along the back wall, double hanging poles run the full width of the closet so you can make the most of every inch. You’ll also get our new shoe shelf detail, with lower shelves designed for shoes and upper shelves spaced just right for folded items like sweaters or jeans.

It’s a simple, smart upgrade that adds everyday convenience and keeps your space neat and tidy.

✨ The closet includes a motion-activated light, so it automatically turns on as soon as you walk in — your home is already working for you, even when you’re just waking up. You’ll also find your Wi-Fi adapter located here for convenient access. The space is well lit with three LED disk lights, ensuring everything is bright and easy to see.

Laundry

Whether you’re a farmer or simply someone who appreciates a well-organized space, this laundry room delivers both beauty and function. A convenient half bath is tucked inside, so after working outdoors you can clean up without tracking dirt through the rest of the home. As a thoughtful touch, two built-in shelves sit beside the toilet — perfect for keeping essentials like towels, soaps, and extra paper supplies within reach.

Everyone loves a deep sink, and here you’ll have one centered under a 4-foot window, letting in plenty of natural light. We suggest matching your laundry faucet with your kitchen. The pull put sprayer will be put to good use here for simple laundry tasks, and even washing a pet, boots etc. Below and to the side of the sink, a pull-out cleaning organizer keeps paper towels and cleaning supplies neatly stored and easy to access, making it simple to treat stains and stay organized. Should you choose to do Express cabinets in the laundry (it saves money) this cleaning cabinet will be available. Six drawers below and cabinets above provide generous storage for everything from laundry detergents to extra linens.

We also got detailed with the finishes. If you select Emser Passion tile, you’ll see the same beautiful vertical-and-horizontal layout here, wrapping around the window for a cohesive, high-end look. The tile continues all the way behind the washer and dryer up to the ceiling, making clean-up easier and giving the entire space a designer finish. A shelf and hanging pole above the washer and dryer make it easy to hang clothes straight from the machine or air-dry delicate items.

You’ll even have a 42-inch bench with cubbies — perfect for hanging coats, sitting down to pull on your boots or shoes, or storing backpacks and everyday gear.

✨ With three LED disk lights, this area stays bright and functional. And just outside the half bath, you’ll find a USB outlet beside the sink, adding a simple convenience that makes everyday living even easier.

Windows

The windows in this home are currently designed with casements though you can adjust to whatever suits your needs. Casement windows are an ideal choice for homes in high-wind areas, as they seal tightly when closed and open outward to catch breezes when you want fresh air. Unlike sliding windows, casements provide an uninterrupted, full-pane view, allowing natural light to pour in without dividing lines.

Trim/Doors

One of the signature details that define the quality of a Wardcraft home is our Craftsman trim, you can however choose modern or colonial trim.

Enjoy 3-foot door openings throughout this home — including the front door, exterior door from laundry. laundry to hallway, primary bedroom, bath #1 & #2, the primary walk-in closet, and the butler’s pantry. These wider doors make everyday life easier in so many ways. Moving furniture in and out is simpler, carrying laundry baskets or boxes takes less effort, and the extra width provides better accessibility for anyone using a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. It’s one of those thoughtful details that makes your home more comfortable, functional, and ready for whatever the future holds.

Electrical

We’ve outlined each electrical section with this symbol.

Anywhere you see ✨, you’ll find details about the lighting, outlets, and switches designed to make your home as functional as it is beautiful.

Rest easy we have taken care of it. Every light in this home has been carefully and intentionally placed. The result is a home that feels bright and welcoming during the day and warm and inviting in the evening. Thoughtful lighting placement enhances function, creates ambiance, and highlights the craftsmanship that makes this home truly special.

We know how important it is for homeowners to control their lighting, whether bright for cooking or soft for a relaxed evening. That’s why we thoughtfully designed this home with separate dimmers for the pendants, kitchen, and living room lights, allowing you to set the ambiance that feels just right.

The LED lights throughout the kitchen, dining, and living room are fully adjustable—shift from a cozy 2700K warm glow to crisp 5000K daylight, and dim them all the way down to 5%, including the pendants. It’s these small, intentional details, like adjustable lighting and individualized dimmers, that make a Wardcraft home exceptional. You'll also get upgraded rocker switches and outlets throughout your home.

We’ve even included the electrical layout on the floorplan PDF pages so you can see for yourself just how thoughtfully every switch and light was planned.

The lower shelves are spaced closer together — perfect for shoes — while the upper shelves provide plenty of room for sweaters, jeans, or even toys. These thoughtful touches make it easy to stay organized and keep everything within reach.

✨ Both rooms are wired for ceiling fans to be installed on site by others.
