Pella® Impervia® Fiberglass
Single hung Pella® Impervia energy-efficient windows with Low-E glass are standard. Made from
patented Duracast® fiberglass composite, these windows are virtually impervious to extreme weather. They have the quality and look of painted wood without the maintenance.

U-Factor Rating. A window’s ability to resist the transfer of heat. The lower the U-factor, the less heat is transferred, the more energy-efficient. A U-factor of .35 is required by most codes, while we include standard windows with a much improved U-factor of .32.

Design Pressure (DP) Rating. This measures how resistant the window is to positive and negative air pressure, wind and rain. The higher the DP rating, the tighter the window assembly is. A DP 20 is required by most codes, while we include a window with an improved DP 30 standard.

Values shown above are for elevations up to 8,500 ft without breather tubes, and may vary depending on size of window. For higher elevations we recommend casements where small windows may be used, as above a kitchen sink. For elevations above 8,500 feet please visit www.pella.com.

Standard Single Hung
This style features a fixed
upper sash. Single hung windows offer a traditional
look and good value. They
are similar to double-hung windows but only the
bottom sash operates.

Benefits
Excellent window for value
and performance.

Double Hung Tilt
These windows open vertically, and the sashes slide up and down. You can open without consuming exterior space.
The window’s tilt-wash
feature means you may never have to go outside to wash windows again.

Benefits
The top sash can be opened
for ventilation, providing an
extra measure of safety in
rooms with children.

Casement
Have a hinge at the side and crank out to open.

Benefits
Casement windows are the best airtight windows you can buy. They seal in three places, and, once closed, minimize wind getting through. This gives you better overall window performance.

Note
We recommend casement windows in high wind areas.
The tight seals keep more dirt, dust and other fine particles out of your home that may infiltrate through other window types.

Duracast
Pella’s fiberglass composite won’t expand and
warp in the summer or shrink and turn brittle in the winter. Duracast is stronger than vinyl or aluminum.

Frame Color Options
Pella Impervia products don’t need painting. They feature a durable powder-coat paint finish.
