Exterior Trim
Multitudes of exterior options are available to accentuate your new home, from the siding, roofing and soffit to customized fascia, banding and trim. Set your new home apart with your own custom style. Detail the exterior of your home with optional window wrap and corner boards, and belly bands on two story homes. Or choose a full craftsman exterior, adding shingles in the gables along with a parting band.

Tamko Heritage Shingles
30-year shingles are standard while 50-year shingles are an available upgrade. These attractive shingles simulate the rustic, dimensional look of wood shakes, without wood's high cost or safety concerns. The unique shadow tone granule blend gives them extra richness and depth. Their random-cut sawtooth design prevents the unsightly zipper patterns common with many other laminated shingles.
Tamko provides a limited 30-year warranty on 30-year shingles and a limited lifetime warranty on
50-year shingles.

Eaves
Eaves are the projecting overhang at the lower edge of a roof. Soffit is the material that covers the underside of the eave. Our standard strong yet flexible aluminum soffit is vented to promote continuous airflow, a necessary component to keeping attics cool and dry. Standard eaves have a horizontal return to the house (shown in photos A & B) while optional rake eaves have an angled return (shown in photos C & D). Standard eaves are 16" on one-story and two-story homes with 24", 30" & 36" eaves available depending upon roof/floorplan design. Standard eaves on cape style (story and a half) homes are 12". Standard aluminum soffits come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Optional Upgrade. Fiber cement siding (above) is extremely durable, non-combustible, does not warp or rot and is resistant to everyday dings. The material's superior paint adherence properties reduce the frequency of recoating. The product also remains impervious to woodpeckers or wood-boring insects. The only additional maintenance required is simple cleaning. Due to its superior durability and resistance to damage from extreme weather conditions, the material can be used in virtually any climate. Below are the standard colors for this optional siding when homes are constructed in our Ft. Morgan, CO plant. Please ask your local authorized builder for comparable color choices for homes built in our Clay Center, KS and Minden, NE facilities.
