How does a Wardcraft Home compare
to a site built home?
Q. Will Wardcraft
finance my new home?
A. Yes! Wardcraft
has an agreement with one of the Midwest's largest mortgage
companies who will finance your new Wardcraft home. The rates
are at or below local rates in most cases and we can usually
approve your request in less than 3 days. Also, Wardcraft
homes are VA and FHA approved, which simplifies the mortgage
approval process. You may also be financed by your local
lender.
Q. How
long will I have to wait for my new home?
A. Once the floor
plan is finalized, construction and delivery of a new home
can take from six weeks up to six months, depending on the
backlog in our factory and on delivery conditions, such as
weather or road closings. The Wardcraft staff will work with
you from the onset to arrange a schedule that suits you,
giving top priority to families who have been displaced by
disaster and who need immediate housing.
Q. Is
there a Wardcraft price list?
A. Because we’re custom builders and
your choices are unlimited, there is no Wardcraft price list.
Each home is a unique project and each is priced and quoted
individually.
Q. Why
are some Wardcraft Homes delivered in one piece and others
shipped in multiple pieces?
A. The shipping method depends on two factors:
the design of the home and its destination. Local regulations
in some areas limit the width of loads on the roadways. In
those areas, it’s necessary to transport the house in
two pieces. In other states, we can devise routes that allow
us to ship the entire house in one piece. In either case, the
houses are identical in workmanship, quality of material and
overall appearance. A Wardcraft home is synonymous with quality
and lasting value
Q. Does
a Wardcraft Home carry a guarantee?
A. Yes. Each new Wardcraft Home carries
a one year limited builders warranty and an optional 10 year
structural warranty provided by Residential Warranty Corporation.
As a result of Wardcraft using top quality materials and appliances,
most of the component parts carry their own warranty.
Q. How
do I get started?
A. It’s very easy. Call us today
and request a free color catalog. We will let you know who
your local authorized Wardcraft Homes builder is (their info
will be on the cover of the catalog you recieve). You can
schedule an appointment to view our entire Design Book as
well as discuss your particular needs and desires.
Q. How
does a Wardcraft Home compare to a site built home?
A. Wardcraft Homes are constructed to
the same building codes that local builders are regulated
by. In addition to meeting or exceeding these local building
codes, a Wardcraft Home also offers several advantages as
a result of being constructed in a building protected from
the damaging effects of harsh weather. Wardcraft homes also
appreciate in value the same as an on-site built home. |
